I’ve been absolutely loving the balletcore trend that has emerged in recent seasons. Not only are ballet flats some of the most comfortable shoes, but they’re such a fun, feminine fashion statement. Luxury brands have interpreted the ballet flat trend in so many unique ways, from Alaia’s studded styles to Mach Mach’s bow and crystal flats. While I’d love to own every designer ballet flat style, my budget has other plans. Let’s explore the hottest flat trends on the luxury market and the best dupe for each designer style!
Khaite Marcy Ballet Flats
Some of my favorite flats on the market, the Khaite Marcy Flats have reached cult status since their release in the 2023 collection. This beautiful ballet slipper combines beige mesh with crystals for a princess-worthy style. If you love these Khaite flats as much as I do but can’t afford to spend $950, snag the nearly identical Tony Bianco Milo Flats for just $160 on Revolve instead. Like the OG style, these Khaite flat dupes feature crystal-embellished mesh, a leather trim, and a comfortable rubber sole.

Ganni Ballet Flats
Living in New York City, I see these gorgeous Ganni flats on every corner. Ganni’s take on the balletcore trend, the Slingback Pointed Toe Flats feature chunky silver buckles and metal eyelets. Obsessed with this statement shoe but hesitant to spend $395? For the best Ganni Ballet Flats dupe, snag a pair of these lookalikes by Yishaweiqi for just $64. These slingbacks mimic the Ganni originals and come in 12 different colors, so there’s truly a style for everyone.

Miu Miu Buckle Ballet Flats
When it comes to ballet flats, no one does it better than Miu Miu. The Buckle Ballet Flats are some of my favorite Miu Miu flats, featuring edgy double buckles, cotton ankle ties, and contrast round toes. To get the Miu Miu ballerina look without paying full price, snag a pair of the $150 Schutz Raika Flats on Revolve. These Miu Miu ballet flat dupes could pass as the designer originals with their white leather finish, buckle details, and black ankle ties.

The Row Leather Ballet Flats
Does it get any classier than The Row Leather Ballerina Flats? The shoe of the moment, this design features a timeless black leather silhouette, complete with a thin elasticated strap and a round toe. If you’ve been eyeing these The Row ballerina flats but cringe at the thought of spending $820, check out the Dancerina Flats by Jeffrey Campbell. This The Row ballet flats dupe design looks just like the real deal but will cost you only $120.

Maison Margiela Tabi Ballet Flats
At #5, a list of iconic designer flats would be incomplete without the Maison Margiela Tabi Ballerina Shoes. Featuring the brand’s iconic split-toe design, this statement shoe combines soft leather with a funky, modern twist. While not a perfect match to the original, the Sam Edelman Meadow Ballet Flat offers a similar side silhouette with a cream and brown contrast look. This Tabi flats dupe design retails for just $130 vs. the original, which will cost you around $690.

Valentino Rockstud Ballet Flats
Edgy yet elegant, the Rockstud Ballet Flats feature Valentino’s signature studs on a classic silhouette. Are you on the hunt for the best Valentino Rockstud Flats dupe that won’t cost you almost $800? Schutz has you covered with the Larissa Flat, a great alternative for just $128. While not an exact dupe, this sleek style mimics the real thing with its stunning pearl studs and adjustable ankle strap.

Prada Patent Leather Bow Ballet Flats
Prada’s collection includes some of the best ballet flats on the market, and these red patent leather beauties are no exception. This statement style features a shiny, vibrant red finish and a beautiful, delicate bow for a feminine touch. If this iconic pair of shoes is on your wishlist but out of budget, check out the Natalia Ballet Flats by Raye instead. These $158 dupes are giving all the Audrey Hepburn vibes for a fraction of the price of the original designer style

Mach Mach Double Bow Crystal Flats
Arguably the most fabulous flat shoe to ever exist, the Mach Mach Double Bow Crystal Flats take basic ballet flats to the next level. This pair of flats promises to turn heads, featuring the brand’s signature double bow design, a sleek pointed toe, and all-over crystals. Are you searching for a more affordable option for this $1,025 Mach Mach style? This Mach and Mach flats dupe by Amazon brand Zelaprox can pass as the original but will cost you less than $30.

Chanel Cap Toe Ballet Flats
A classic style in every sense, the Chanel CC Ballet Flat makes a sophisticated statement with its two-toned design. These classic Chanel ballet flats are simply gorgeous, but even used, you’ll be lucky to find them for under $2,000. If these vintage Chanel flats are on your wishlist but out of budget, consider the Jeffrey Campbell Arabesque Flats. These $145 Chanel ballet flat dupes mirror the luxury originals with their cream and black leather design, black cap toe, and stunning bows.

Sandy Liang Ballet Flats
A modern update to a timeless silhouette, the Sandy Liang Mary Jane Ballet Flats feature recognizable square toes, a simple strap, and quality leather soles. These pointe-inspired ballet flats retail for $550, but you can get the same vintage vibe with these $46 lookalikes by Feversole. While slightly different than the originals, this Sandy Liang ballet flats dupe design offers a similar faux leather look for over $500 less.

Dior Lace-Up Ballet Flats
Some of my favorite designer shoes on the market, the Dior Lace-Up Ballerina Flats feature unique removable ribbon laces. These chic black ballerinas are distinctly Dior, but you can get a shockingly similar look with the Free People Cece Wrap Ballet Flats. For less than $100, these Dior ballet flats offer the same ankle-wrap look, complete with an almond toe and leather sole.

Loeffler Randall Leonie Ballet Flats
I dedicated an entire article to Loeffler Randall dupes, so it seems fair to include the iconic Leonie Ballet Flats on this list. This dance-inspired design features a gorgeous white satin finish, dainty bows, and a simple elastic strap. Searching for a more affordable alternative to this bestselling style? Snag these $37 lookalikes by Joeupin for the same beautiful ballerina style for less.

Bottega Veneta Napa Ballet Flats
A work of wearable art, the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Napa Ballet Flats feature a quilted leather design and a chic, rounded toe. If you love this beautiful Bottega design but can’t afford to spend $670 on the original version, shop the Arissa Flat by Schutz for just $138 instead.
